Newstead
Newstead is one of our Primary Curriculum Stage 1 learning pathways. In Newstead we are following a bespoke sensory based learning curriculum.
We are a class of 8 learners, our youngest is 6 and eldest is 11.
In Newstead we have a multisensory approach to learning, we will be accessing a range of interactive activities within our learning experiences as a class.
Important Information
- Beyond Bennerley is on a Tuesday morning, we have been accessing the community during our morning trips to different parks nearby.
- PE is on Thursdays – taught by Becky
- Outdoor learning- as part of our curriculum pathway we will be accessing learning activities outside; please send wellies, waterproofs, spare clothing to support this.

Summer 1: Newstead working hard on their ball skills in PE this half term. Rolling and stopping a ball, bouncing and catching a ball and throwing a ball at a target. Great work Newstead.

Friday 8th March. World Book Day and Mother’s Day card making!
All the staff dressed up as “Goldilocks and the three bears” characters. We had a sensory story full of lots of porridge, then we made our own!
Later we made made some lovely cards for Mother’s Day.
