Hardwick

Welcome to Hardwick Class

It’s been a busy couple of weeks again in Hardwick class. We have been enjoying our science/ outdoor learning lessons, Forrest school and STEM day last week and Hello Yellow day this week. All children are really settling well into the new school year, engaging in all lessons and making new friendships at playtimes too.

We have been very busy in the last 2 weeks in Hardwick class, getting to know each other and getting busy doing lots of hard work. In PE we have been learning about how to dribble a ball and change direction whilst doing this. In Science we have been looking at different properties of materials and how we can make paper so it is waterproof with wax crayons. In Maths we have been learning about length and height - we measured various objects and each other either using cubes or metre rules.

The children have all settled in to the new term really well and are coming into class smiling and leaving with smiles on their faces! We are super proud of how much they have all achieved already over the last 2 weeks - well done Hardwick!

Hardwick is a class of friendly, funny and hardworking students exploring new ideas and experiences as well as making sure key concepts and knowledge are secure. We like to develop our independence and have a variety of experiences in our local community and the wider world.
