Eating Disorders are a complex and challenging form of mental ill health. 1.25 million people are estimated to have a diagnosed eating disorder in the UK, although the true scale of the issue is unknown.

- Consultation with Eating Disorder specialists for advice and support.
- Referral to specialist services if appropriate.
Eating Disorder Support for Families
Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Founded in 1989 as the Eating Disorders Association, our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. Eating disorders are complex mental illnesses and we encourage and empower people to get help quickly, because we know the sooner someone starts treatment, the greater their chance of recovery. We offer help 365 days a year.

First Step ED, offers support for children and Young People through support groups. Staff are trained in eating disorders and autism offering a specialised, person centred approach.
