Derwent Class did an awesome job litter picking around Shipley Park as part of the volunteering section for their Gateway Award. Pupils worked together to help keep the park clean and tidy, showing great teamwork and responsibility. This activity not only supports the local environment but also helps pupils develop important life skills and a sense of community pride. Well done, Derwent Class

Chatsworth Class had an amazing opportunity to take part in hands-on work experience at Breadsall Priory. Pupils enjoyed exploring a range of hospitality and housekeeping tasks, including: Setting tables and preparing dining areas Polishing cutlery and glassware Making beds and learning about room presentation Tidying communal spaces and understanding guest service standards This experience helped pupils develop practical life skills, teamwork, and confidence in a real-world setting. It was a brilliant step towards independence and preparation for adulthood!
