Our approach to enterprise focuses on creating enriching learning experiences that integrate seamlessly into our curriculum. At the heart of our enterprise projects are 13 key skill areas developed by the CDI specifically for young people to embrace enterprise projects successfully. These skills align closely with the Skills Builder Framework, which forms the foundation of our comprehensive school-wide strategy for skill development. Identified by education and business leaders, these enterprise capabilities are essential life skills that empower young people to confidently navigate their future. They illustrate the practical relevance of education to the real world and their career aspirations. Our goal is to ingrain these 13 skills over the 5 years that our pupils participate in annual enterprise projects; inspiring learners to engage actively with the material, provide a progressive knowledge and skills base to increase confidence in skill development and embrace the application of their learning in the world of work.
