We’re an enthusiastic and vibrant KS3 class of 12 students.
In our class, we embrace diversity and celebrate all students' unique abilities and talents. We believe that every individual has the potential to thrive and make positive progress at their own pace. We strive to create a warm and nurturing environment where kindness, empathy and respect for one another are at the core of everything we do. Each student's voice is valued, and we encourage active participation knowing that every contribution is significant. We celebrate everyone's achievements and work together as a team to earn “Class Dojos”. When we earn enough “Dojos”, students can decide what they want to buy from the Dojo Shop. This could range from a sticker, a prize box choice or even a certificate. Pupils can earn “Class Dojo” points for individual achievements by demonstrating the Bennerley Attitudes.
In Elvaston class, we foster a love for learning and exploration. We will be investigating a range of topics this year. Our curriculum incorporates enrichment activities, recognising and expressing our emotions, keeping safe online, visits out in the community, Forest School and PE. Maths, English, Science and PSHE are our core subjects that focus on developing fundamental skills.
In our class, we are a family – a community that cares for one another, celebrates each other's successes and support each other through setbacks. Together, we aim to inspire, uplift and empower each other to embrace our potential and make a positive impact to the school and wider community.

We tried new foods! Some new foods we discovered that we liked and some we absolutely did not!
In science, we have been learning about electrical circuits. We needed to make a complete circuit with all the correct components to make the lightbulb or buzzer turn on.
We went to Morrison’s to research prices and navigate our way around safely. Afterwards, we headed to the cafe to treat ourselves to a drink and something yummy!

Autumn 2 learning: Maths, money, direction, PSHE, role play and BeeBots.
PE in Autumn 2: Gymnastics - We practiced balances and jumps and created fantastic routines.
Autumn 2 Fun! Weaving, food tasting, dream catchers and silly sentences!
