Hardwick class is a vibrant and supportive group of Key Stage 2/3 learners who thrive on curiosity and collaboration. We celebrate each other's strengths and differences, and we place great importance on developing kindness, respect, and positive relationships. Our class is a place where everyone is encouraged to be themselves, learn together, and grow through shared experiences both in school and within the wider community.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum in Hardwick class is designed to meet the individual needs of each pupil, nurturing their personal development and academic progress. Pupils work on personalised learning goals which are embedded throughout the school day, and progress is monitored in close partnership with families and professionals. We strive to ensure learning is meaningful, engaging and accessible to all.
We make full use of our outdoor spaces, including Forest School and the school garden, to support sensory needs, emotional wellbeing, and hands-on learning. These environments allow us to practise communication and social skills while developing confidence and independence through play and exploration.
In the 2024–2025 academic year, Hardwick class will engage with a range of exciting topics through the Stage 2 curriculum. These learning opportunities are thoughtfully planned to promote interaction, engagement, and the development of key knowledge and life skills.
