The Bennerley Fields School Council is overseen by our Pastoral Leaders Claire and Gemma. Our School Council provides all of our pupils with a meaningful opportunity to have their voices heard and to contribute to decisions about school life. The council is made up of one representative from each class across all stages of the school, ensuring that every class has a voice.

The School Council meets every half term to discuss important aspects of school life, including lunchtime clubs, fundraising events and ways to make our school an even better place for everyone. Councillors listen to the views of their classmates, share ideas, and work together to help shape positive changes within the school community, while developing valuable communication, leadership and teamwork skills.

Health and Safety Walk 

In Summer Term 2026 the School Council did a Health and Safety walk round school to help make sure our school is a safe environment for all our pupils.  See below for some photos from this:
