Trent Class, encourage independence wherever possible. We support pupils through careful scaffolding of their learning and a gradual release of responsibility using the “I do, We do, You do” approach, helping pupils to develop confidence and essential life skills. we follow the Stage 2 Engagement pathway and deliver AQA units across the curriculum. 

We strive to provide a warm, friendly, happy, and safe environment where all students feel valued, supported, and ready to learn. Our curriculum is kept fresh, relevant, and engaging, ensuring that learning remains meaningful and motivating for all pupils. Through adaptive teaching, we get to know pupils as individuals and tailor learning to their needs, interests, and abilities. We are responsive to pupils' progress and understanding, adjusting our teaching, resources, and level of challenge to ensure learning is engaging, accessible, and appropriately matched to each student's stage of development.

Important Information

• Beyond Bennerley Monday afternoons; we will be joining Buxton class going out into the community  

• Forest school Monday pm Spring 2 with Fiona 

• P.E. is on Wednesday afternoon. Please wear a PE kit on this day
