Elvaston

Class Teacher: Nathan

Teaching Assistants: Chris Pal and Amabel

Midday Supervisor: Heather P

We are a friendly and enthusiastic KS3 class of 12 students, supported by three dedicated members of staff who work together to ensure every pupil feels valued, supported and encouraged to achieve their very best.

In our classroom, we celebrate diversity and recognise the unique strengths, talents and personalities that each student brings. We believe that every young person can succeed and make meaningful progress at their own pace, and we provide a nurturing environment where confidence can grow.

Kindness, respect and empathy are at the heart of everything we do. We encourage everyone to share their ideas and take an active role in class, knowing that every voice matters and every achievement deserves to be celebrated.

We enjoy working together as a team to earn "Class Dojos". Once we reach our target, students can choose rewards from the Dojo Shop, including stickers, prizes from the prize box or certificates. Pupils can also earn individual Class Dojo points by demonstrating the Bennerley Attitudes, recognising their positive choices, effort and achievements throughout the school day.

In Elvaston class, we foster a love for learning and exploration.  We will be investigating a range of topics this year. Our curriculum incorporates; enrichment activities, recognising and expressing our emotions, keeping safe online, visits out in the community, Forest School and PE. Maths, English, Science and PSHE are our core subjects that focus on developing fundamental skills.

In our class, we are a family – a community that cares for one another, celebrates each other's successes and support each other through setbacks. Together, we aim to inspire, uplift and empower each other to embrace our potential and make a positive impact to the school and wider community.
