We are an enthusiastic KS1 and KS2 class of 8 pupils. We enjoy learning and working together in our class team. We follow an exciting varied curriculum, which we are taught through whole class teaching, group work and one to one teaching. We are getting better at understanding and following our routines, which means we are happy and ready to learn every day!

The Bennerley Attitudes, help us to learn to work together and respect each other.

Our curriculum pathway is Stage 2 Engagement Pathway, where we are beginning to learn more subject specific skills and getting to engage with a wide range of topics throughout the year. 

Our topics for the year are:

• Autumn 1 – Blast off (DT Focus)
• Autumn 2 – I need a hero (PE Focus)
• Spring 1 –   Messey mixtures (Geography Focus)
• Spring 2 –  In the garden (Science Focus)
• Summer 1 –  A pirate life (Geography Focus)
• Summer 2 –  On the coast (Geography Focus)

Important Information

PE will be on Wednesday mornings so please send your child in wearing suitable PE kit on Wednesdays. (tracksuits/ shorts/ tshirt / trainers.)

Please send in wellies and waterproofs to keep in school so that we can put them on for outside play and learning when necessary.

Please send all clothing / bags/ equipment clearly labelled to avoid them being misplaced.
