We are 3M, a brilliant bunch of boys and girls from 11 to 14. We have a new room and a new part of the school, which we share with 3F and 3/4A.
Our Key Stage 3 motto is definitely ‘work hard, play hard’.
Our class is led by Mick, Marie, Gail and Donna. Together we spend the week making small improvements all the time as we raise our skills and increase our learning. We all want to do really well in Key Stage 4 and at college so we work really hard to get better and better.
Of course Wednesdays are still enrichment days. This year we will be visiting Shining Cliff Woods for Bushcraft and survival skills and flinging ourselves across the Peak District with our adventurous activities programme. We will cook up some questionable dishes in the Life Skills Room, but we’re also ICT-mad and we have another year of programming, controlling and presenting to look forward to.
We try to do as much outdoor learning as we can, as we practise our new skills away from the classroom. So there are lots of trips to watch out for. Keep one eye on our blog as we upload our love of learning across the year. Have a great year – we will!!!
3M set homework every Friday consisting of maths work, some English and a PSHE or topic related task. Pupils are encouraged to take their reading folders home and have the codes to access Reading Eggs too.
